About

Family Council Action Committee is a nonprofit nonpartisan conservative organization based in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Our mission is to promote, protect, and strengthen traditional family values in the public policy arena.  Our sincerely held beliefs in the values and principles found in the Bible motivate us to stand for the sanctity of innocent human life, promote religious freedom, honor marriage as the union of a man and a woman, and defend the rights of the poor.

Founded by Jerry Cox in 1991, we worked for the successful passage of the Arkansas Marriage Amendment in 2004 that defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman.  We worked for the successful passage of the Arkansas Adoption and Foster Care Act in 2008 that prohibits adoption and foster care by cohabiting individuals. We opposed the Arkansas Lottery Amendment and the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.  We are opposed to Issue 1 of 2018.

We communicate with a statewide mailing list of over 5,000 Arkansas households regularly.  Our office is located just two blocks from the State Capitol in Little, Rock, Arkansas.
